Alberto Gustaffson Guitarisk' is my new chill vibe. Lo-fi beats + guitar magic = perfection. 'Fireflies' is hauntingly beautiful with this majestic minor chords sequence that just gets stuck in the head. Love that style of song crafting of repetitive guitar phrases in the atmospheric soundscapes throughout the whole album Favorite track: Fireflies.

The Serial Chiller it's a Jazzmaster's fan dream. 'Desert Song' feels like a cinematic journey. Anyone else picturing that love story in the desert? Plus, the homage to 'Rumble' in 'Ocean Drift'? Pure genius. Favorite track: Desert Song.

There's something new from "JEL-LO'S Beats"!

I've taken a step back in the past few weeks to indulge myself once again with my beloved electric guitar, "Jupiter." The result is an EP that celebrates and captures the sound of the Fender Jazzmaster. Jazzmasters were originally designed, as the name suggests, for playing jazz. Unfortunately, this instrument didn't establish itself in that music genre. Instead, these guitars were used in the 60s and 70s for Western sounds and surf rock. So, I combined melodies of that style with beats, resulting in 6 pieces that tell a little story.

I'm confident that not only guitarists will appreciate this EP.

My new EP, "Guitarisk," starts with the "Desert Song." My friend Lilli mentioned that she envisions a love story between two people wandering through the desert while listening to this music—sometimes apart, sometimes progressing together. I find this story very sweet, and it has become the image in my mind as well when listening.

Embark on an adventurous journey into a festive canyon with "Canyon Rave"! If you're curious about how electro meets high-noon atmosphere, don't miss this piece.

As the name suggests, "BonBonanza" is a nod to a well-known Western TV series theme. Bouncing wild chords invite you to a rocking ride with breakbeats.

A special role on the EP is played by "Ocean Drift." It is a homage to the surf rock classic "Rumble" by Link Wray, known from the movie Pulp Fiction. I took various elements as inspiration and created my own thing. The piece is named this way because it reminds me of a vacation with two very good friends. After driving through the deserts of California, Nevada, and Arizona for several days in 2018, we spent the last day driving along the coast of California.

My personal favorite is "Space Monkeys On Acid In Shiny Boots." As you can tell from the name, it's an absolutely crazy piece where monkeys and space sounds play a role. I won't reveal more. When monkeys land in the desert of Guitarisk, strange things happen...

I concluded the EP with a piece that I also particularly like. "Fireflies" tells of the last evening in the desert, where you reminisce about your adventure and enjoy the fireflies that illuminate this magical, mysterious landscape. I've been playing the melancholic chord progression that accompanies the entire piece for years, and it means a lot to me that these chords have finally found their home in a track.
